| I have used the last two versions of the driver from VIA without problems. The 3.10 version they had was identical to the one offered at Chaintech ... down to the last kilobyte. However, YMMV in actual usage. |

| OK, I'll try it. Thanks. Just installed the new powersupply. We'll see if it was the source of the "Any Key" power-on problem in the next few days. BTW: The Antec weighs three times as much as the vanilla Hercules 400 w that came with the case. Kerry |

| I have an Antec truePower 430 and really like it. It 's a good piece of hardware. |

| I disconnected all the wires from the MOBO (without writing down where they came from because I arrogantly thought I knew where they all went) and installed the new PS. However, there's one plug on both the old and the new PSs that has six wires going to it, 3 black, 2 orange and 1 red wire. Darned if I can see where it's supposed to go on the 9cjs. I don't remember unplugging such a plug. There is one set of pins on the 9cjs labeled the "IR connector" but the plug in question has a lock thingy on it that precludes it fitting there, next to is the SATA connector which is occupied. Helpomondo, Thanks, Kerry So far the PS is working fine. Very quiet. Kerry |

| Forgot to ask about where to plug in the Antec's "PSU fan monitor connector." On the Chaintech diagram #27 is Fan1 (CPU) #16 is Fan2 (System Fan) #6 is Fan3 (case fan) #29 is Fan4 (Northbridge fan) In other words, all four connectors have plugs. Perhaps I can't monitor the PSU fan? Thanks, Kerry |

| 1) 6 wire connector? does it look like: ? if so; it is not used on the Chaintech 9CJS (and most recent ATX motherboards) 2) PSU rpm monitor; if you don't have a FAN header free, then you won't be able to monitor the PSU fan speed

| Yup, that's it. Got it about the "no fan header." I feel as though I'm almost through building the rig. How do I tell which of the 6 (2 front, 4 rear) USB ports are 1.1 or 2.0? Thanks, Kerry |

| I'm having problems trying to place a Norton Ghost 2003 image on an external USB HDD. Here's what Symantic wrote: Quote:
I'm not sure which of the drivers listed in Device Manager is the PC-DOS driver. Do we have such a driver? Thanks, Kerry | |
