Gigabyte Overclocking Qualification Round 1

Last year Gigabyte organized their first World Wide Overclocking event in Taiwan. The 2008 event was open for invited overclockers only. This year however, they put up an online entry system. So not only the happy few could participate, but everyone out there running an overclocked Gigabyte setup.

Final scores and prizes

The final scores can than be counted.

The judges picked up each Team's USB stick, to verify the screenshots with the posted results. All scores were validated and correctly submitted. Team Belgium goes through the next round in Prague!

But there was more to win than just that one ticket. Gigabyte, Kingston and Enermax had a nice lineup of prices:

Nice results by these guys as it was there first run on LN2, so they learned quickly. Very nice guys.

So there you have it, we had loads of laughs, drank real Belgian beer at the contest (amazing work Sibren) and are eagerly awaiting the 2010 edition of this competition. Let's hope the Belgian Team can defend the national colors in Prague and get some good scores against the international OC heavy weights .

Couple of words to thank some people :

Also nutty Trouffman for sending me his pics and letting me use them (La moule !)

There's a 'syndrome-oc' watermark. Either he didn't take it, or he did using Trouffman's camera.
