not likely? Isn't the new release of BH-5 based memory modules directly aimed at the enthousiast ? The same market segment at which TCCD based modules are aimed at? Of course i have no idea at which price the BH-5 will start but if it's a lot lower than TCCD they will have no choice.

well I suppose the big brands (Mushkin, Corsair, OCZ, ...) will buy the new BH-5's again but sell them at even higher prices then the TCCD ram they are selling now.

But just like before with BH-5, you'll be able to buy those same BH-5 chips on much cheaper TwinMOS ram.

I'm still just guessing here

those Winbond UTT chips seem to behave quite like BH-5 and OCZ is already using them, interesting to see what they will do with it,

competition is good, TCCD is good for running very high FSB with moderate timings, BH-5/UTT is good for those not able to get high FSB, but want tight timings instead to make up for the performance loss

they should already be hitting the market by now, if not, wait for TwinMOS to officially anounce their ddr450 speedpremiums

Well, Twinmos...

The first modules i bought for my 8rda6+ pro were Twinmos Dual Twister 2x512 dual channel kit rated cl 2. Which appears to be a bunch of BS because it wouldn't even run 2.5. Something was incompatible with nforce2 so is there a chance those ddr450 speedpremiums will give me the same problems?
