is still capable of providing an extremely fast system, or in other words: it has not been outdone by TCCD yet. TCCD relies on super high FSB speeds to gain the advantage, only few systems will reach 300FSB or more, while 265-275Mhz is more feasible

in my humble opinion every ( or most ) TCCD can handle 300+ fsb it's just the a64 memory controller that keeps us away from 300+

are you sure? I know the memcontroller should take care of the ram but couldn't it still be the chipset and/or the bios?

I don't have two different mobo's so I can't find out.


maybe I can verify with a friend who has an epox 9nda3+ and a 3500+. he can't get over 270 htt, even with the latest bios .
his ram isn't on it's but, neither is the cpu.
