The most interesting thing is that my Asus 5900 was only partialy stable at 475MHz core and 950 MHz ram, and now it is 100% stable with 8°C lower temp. Is this good or what ?!

Hey i have the A350 Leadtek 5900 Ultra TDH MyVivo card. I tryed to flash the BIOS but was getting a wierd error so i just updated the BIOS. Its picked up the card as a A380 now but i was wondering if having not flashed the BIOS would change anything?

I see no changes in performance atm. Looking up the Geforce tab under display properties the BIOS date isn't the same as the A380's version.

My version:

4.35.20.32

The version we downloaded:

4.35.30.32

Does this mean i haven't installed it right?

The fact is that all those cards are based on NVIDIA reference design - so I think all of them will work... Try it, but I would test the card if it overclocks to 475/930 MHz - because if it doesn't then i wouldn't flash it... BUT - my Gigabyte 5900XT would overclock max -> 450/840 and with the 5950U bios it works stable at 475/950.

urosv:

I downloaded the zip that you link to and flashed my BIOS with that. I then used the file 5950E400.ROM to update my BIOS with WFFLASH.EXE. My PC know thinks i've got a Geforce 5950 and its reading the BIOS version as:

4.35.20.35.08

Thats with NVidia's 53.03 Drivers installed instead of Leadtek's ones.

My question is, have i done it right this time? And if so shouldn't i configure the card to the A380 Ultra? Wouldn't that work better with the card? I see no performance boost at all.

Any help appreciated.
