Everyone knows the 7800 series is the big dog on the block when it comes to graphics at the moment, Leadtek's PX7800GT Extreme TDH is the next step down from the GTX version in their line-up and today we are going to put not one but two of them through their paces. The 7800GT Extreme sports 20 pixel pipelines as well as 7 vertex shaders just a notch below the GTX model. The G70 NVIDIA core is clocked at 450 MHz and the DDR3 memory at a powerful 1050 MHz which is stock GT speeds are 400X1000. The 7800GT is the mid-range performance card in the G70 line up sporting dual DVI's, VIVO functionality, and SLI capability. The 7800 series is only available in PCI-E interface and not AGP.
