 |  Google unveils Desktop Search 3.0, Privacy Blow-up 2.0 Google has taken the wraps off yet another update to the Google Desktop Search. At the fresh release age of three, Google Desktop Search (GDS) improves on the old while proudly pimping the new. But with today's release, Google is crossing into some new, interesting, and potentially controversial territory. The headlining feature is called Search Across Computers, and it allows you to search the content of your computers from other locations on the Internet if you opt-in. http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20060209-6145.html
