most likely those who don't replace their PC's every 4 years

at my previous work they replaced Siemens P4 2.6Ghz HT with 2.8Ghz HT prescott systems, they were noticable louder, not noticable faster, and the DDR2 inside was cheapo, high latency sticks, which result in the same performance as the "old" brand.

what an upgrade

My pc at work is a DELL 1,4Ghz Wilamette , 256Mb sdram

Works just fine and TBH , I don't need a faster computer at work

256Mb is not enough for work PC here, even 512Mb is near the limit.
