get yourself a wheel and even more important: gas/brake pedals, as you need to slowly increase pressure on the gas pedal, otherwise your car will start spinning out of control; accelerate too early when coming out of a corner and you'll be in the grind/grass
this game is scary realistic in this aspect, and as you have NO assistance whatsoever (no ABS or traction control) you need to be carefull when taking corners, braking and accelerating
but it all pays off in the end when you're able to go around a track at high speed, knowning that it is you keeping the car on the road and nothing else
