 |  AMD announces Zen 4-based Ryzen 7000 series Available as of September 27 AMD has officially announced its next generation Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors based on Zen 4 architecture, bringing significant IPC increase, as well as support for DDR5 and PCI-Express Gen 5. The Ryzen 7000 series desktop CPUs will be available as of September 27th in four SKU options. The new AMD Zen 4 architecture will bring significant performance and power improvements, and according to AMD, we are looking at an average of a 13 percent IPC uplift compared to the previous generation, reaching up to 5.7GHz, an 800MHz increase compared to Ryzen 5000 series, and up to 29 percent higher single-thread performance, also compared to Ryzen 5000 series. https://fudzilla.com/news/pc-hardwar...en-7000-series |
