AMD announces Zen 4-based Ryzen 7000 series Available as of September 27 AMD has officially announced its next generation Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors based on Zen 4 architecture, bringing significant IPC increase, as well as support for DDR5 and PCI-Express Gen 5. The Ryzen 7000 series desktop CPUs will be available as of September 27th in four SKU options.
