i am blabbling to mod the x800pro ... nothing wrong with that isn't ?

Calantak will use a Pelt to cool the 800Pro, not much modding isn't it ?
who cares about a pipeline or 2, it's powerfull enough already, and when overclocked, even better

The difference in performance between the pro and the xt is probably not that big if noticeable at all but it's still 4 pipelines on top.

The difference between the 9500 and the 9700's is also 4 pipelines but that's a difference I did notice.
Knowing myself, it needs to be a pretty descent performance gain if I want to notice it...
