Default memory chips

I didn't know where to post this, but this is an interersting page:

http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/.../AMD/memory/91

contains info on the chips that are the memory modules from a lot of "merknamen" (dno the English word for it)

Not 100% up to date though, The OCZ EB series also use Samsung TCCD chips.... I think all the newer sticks use the Samsung and the older EB's use the Micron 46V32M8 -5B C chips

Nways, I hope it helps

*edit* and lots of ATI bios files there too :feesten: http://www.techpowerup.com/bios/

As you could see there aren't many chip makers but lots of repacker. Repackers or private labelers arrange buying "top notch" chips from production that may have 10% yield factor; the next guy gets the 11 to 20%; the guy follows well get 21 to 50%; the last guy gets the remaining 50%.

the xms2700c2 1.1 they say is bh-6 is a. too old for it to be bh-6 and b. cant oc worth anything even on 2.9v

the 2.1 they say is crap however, does 2226 @ 220 on 2.7v

xms3000 r1.1 does the same
