Gamer 7th June 2004 19:18

I use extreme cooling :)

Sidney 7th June 2004 19:21

I guess JMke knew either Gamer or I would show up; may be in diiferent order.

TeuS 7th June 2004 19:26

make sure your birdies don't suffer from the weather

wutske 7th June 2004 19:31

Barton 2500+@2043 (1.46v  ). MBM temps = Aerogate temps.

/edit: 100% stress (Folding :D), case open and CPU fan @ max (~2200rpm)

[Bonbon] 7th June 2004 19:43

barton mobile 2500+ @ 2088 mhz , 100%stressed 39 °C

Vulk 7th June 2004 20:26

Mobile here running at 2.2 Ghz and 1.65V.
Sp97+papst at 7V and no casefans.

I don't know if its much for a idle temp, I never have a idle cpu.

The only idle temp of my pc I know is 27°C 2500+ @ +-2400MHZ. But that was when it was a but colder (+-20°C in my room)

187(V)URD@ 7th June 2004 22:04

XP 2500+ M @2.4GHZ 100% stressed / 48C° (need to take of some thermal) / roomtemp 28° (small room)
Abit mobo

XP 2400+ / SLK 7 @2200 / 100%stressed / 49°C / roomtemp 20°C
epox mobo

bah, I'm of to bed, i'm having trouble breathing up here :wtf:

agent #2 8th June 2004 12:19

CPU: Idle 42° :(
Stressed: over 56 ° :(

jmke 8th June 2004 12:29

56°C is pretty good for a P4, mine runs at 62-63°C now with the hot weather, stable as hell ; those P4 can take a beaten you know =)

almost same here for the p4 (43 idle, dno stressed)

just noticed the bios readsings are a lot higher then asusprobe's :(

Sidney 8th June 2004 17:28

Well, it's already 30C in door. My office with windows open and three systems running. Goes any higher, turn on the A/C.

wutske 8th June 2004 17:44

33°c in here, no airflow in my room :( . I need an A/C but it's so expensive :bash:

today we bring new high

Case temp: 52°C
CPU temp: 66°C

room temp: 33.1°C
temp outside: 32°C

wutske 8th June 2004 19:24

How can u let them get that high, I hate it if my CPU gets over 50°c (aerogate, not MBM or so).

Sidney 8th June 2004 19:27

We did not do anything to raise the temp; mother nature does.:^)

Vulk 8th June 2004 19:38

57° C stressed today:p
Who cares about temps is your system runs fine.

the maniak 8th June 2004 19:50

temps don't bother me....
my pc runs just fine so why bother

i've don't even got mbm installed anymore...

wutske 8th June 2004 21:37

I'm clocking down if he gets over 50°, don't ask me why, don't know.

easypanic 8th June 2004 22:08

Who needs temps? We need a stable overclock :D

[Bonbon] 8th June 2004 22:22

my room is an oven cause of the folding

gonna stop folding like from 18h- 24h everyday

cant .... stand ...the ....heat

kr15t0f 8th June 2004 22:32

try to live with the heat :D

My pc will be on this night. (WU of 250 points)

roomtemp = 29°C, a lot more hotter than a week ago.
The only thing I don't like about heat is that I become more lazy with every minute. I'm trying to make my schoolbag for almost 3 hours now :grum: .

Sidney 9th June 2004 19:31

After tweaking the W/C unit with room temp over 30C yesterday I had to mount a 80mm fan around the proc socket to keep it running at oc'ed speed. The CPU fan (air cooling) does serve a purpose in moving air around the socket where the power circuit is located.

Turned the house A/C on late this morning; enough toying around with the dog days of summer. Good to know all systems with air cooling are under control at 32C ambient prior to A/C on.

Another bloody hot day in Chicago.

biCker 9th June 2004 20:12

I'm quite happy with my temps: room 24° case 44° cpu 43° unstressed, 48° cpu stressed. Still using the good old w/c....

Sidney 9th June 2004 20:17

"I'm quite happy with my temps: room 24°"

That's not the dog days of summer. Like to know how your W/C runs at 32C room temp without A/C.:grr:

The challenge is high ambient temp say over 30C.

jort 9th June 2004 20:39

its relative
for 500€ youve got one even less
i know its a investment .

Roswell 9th June 2004 20:53

Yesterday:
Room temperature 36°
CPU (barton2800) around 55°

Today:
Room 27°
CPU 47°
Mobo 28°

That's my 'main-pc' .. too focking loud to sleep with, so this one only works 17-23h

My second pc (xp1700@1700mhz) folds 24/7 and now @ 52°cpu and 40°case

(Both stressed 100% folding)

cR00zIFI><3r 9th June 2004 21:23

damn...I think I'm going to buy a new case, with better airflow...

temps are still 'normal' but I don't want my PC to heat up my room...
fyi
CPU= 50°
mobo=34°
hd1= 31°
hd2= 27°
