ok

is the concept of a "project" clear? 1 project name = 1 specific HW setup = bundles all the diff benchmarks with same HW setup = 1 .xml file includes all benchmark results from 1 project.

Hmmm... i'm not sure what you mean.

A project can only contain 1 result per specific benchmark, because each project is related to a specific hardware configuration (or software, if you consider drivers etc), hence the result of a specific bench in a project should always be the same.

If you forgot to bench a specific application, you can add it to the project by giving the project the exact same name, and run the app. I'll try to find a more 'clean' way in the future.

what I mean:
- every bench is a unique result
- you can combine these results into a project, like "motherboard tests"
- then you can generate graphs from those "unique results" that you have dropped in project X

I see.

That's not how it's ment to work atm, but your needs will be fulfilled if you just make a seperate subdir, with all the necessary project files (<project>.xml) in it.
