Ok, question,

Is it possible to let 2 identical motherboards work together (not by lan or something) to get a dualcpu setup ? En how can I doe this ?

Without lan? Why?

You could build a (open)Mosix cluster with 2 PC's (don't need to be identical) connected with firewire. A cheap and efficient way to get load balancing.

certain programs (like 3d studio max) support exacutions on 2 PC' simultaneously.
This usually works over LAN though.

you need an external SCSI HD rack to make clustering work with Windows... kinda expensive

Indeed, and the windows cluster licence is extremely pricy (like 5000 euro each node :s ).

If it's for personal use i'd recommend openmosix with gigabit lan.

you can "hack" the Windows cluster by changing some files/registry settings , that way you can use a normal network drive, but this is hardly recommended and I only used it in a test environment for learning W2k server.
