| ![]() hi there! i know this is my first post over here but i will start right off with a problem i have. i own a hercules 3d prophet 9700 pro cooled by a vga silencer and was able to clock it up to 391/345 without any artifacts. now while running rthdribl i accidently got the clocks up way too high which gave me artifacts on the desktop right away. now i am experiencing snow in 3dmark2k3 at stock speed!!! looks like i have fuked up my card, right? so if yes, i wonder: when rmaing where do i have to send it? i bought it at an online shop, so should i send it there, to ati or to hercules? even more important: how closely do they look at the cards they get? i have removed the shim and the plastic clips holding the stock fan look quite bashed as well. this really sucks, so help would be highly appreciated. thank you! |

![]() | ![]() It's broken, been there, done that. just send it back to the shop you bought it from, only you'll have to wait a while to get it back (been there, done that). another solution is sending it back to Hercules, what will be faster, but I think they will see the damage you made on the card. that's why I always take good care with the original parts ![]() |
