| Same problem... Quote:
I have the gainward ti4400 version, also with ramsinks, and I was also looking to install the Zalman. But does this mean it won't fit on my card either?? :grum: When I touch my ramsinks they are not THAT hot, just a little warm. Do you guys think - if it doesn't fit on my card - removing the ones in the way could harm the card? I want my next pc to be as quiet as possible, so this Zalman thingy would be perfect... ( fan on gainward makes quite a lot of noise imo ) *offtopic* Been reading the posts on this forum for a while, and you guys seem to know what u are talking about. ![]() ![]() | |

![]() | ![]() placing it on a gainward with the stock ramsinks shouldn't be a problem, these are quite low but the tweakmonsters are rather high and don't pass unterneath the zalman |

| ![]() Alrighty then. Didn't know you changed the sinks. Anyone else can assure me that the Zalman will fit over the standard ramsinks? I really don't want to waste 35 euros... ![]() |

| ![]() I'm pretty shure you may simply remove those ramsinks, they're more for the looks then for the actual cooling, if you know what I mean. As I said I'm not 100% shure but it's worth checking out in case it wouldn't fit. |
