Thermaltake also has a G4 set, but i'm no Thermaltake fan.
A 6000rpm 40mm fan may only produce 24db, it's a pretty annoying high-pitched sound. I think it won't make less noise than his current cooler.

5V a thermaltake GF4 cooler, can't hear it, and keeps it nice and cewl.

So true.
It's a damn ****** to do however.
the drilling bit keeps getting stuck between the fins.
The best way is a high RPM drillpress and lowering it slowly.
The bit won't have enough metal to get stuck in with the force it's impacting.

oh that way, that's a typical drilling error: pressing on the drill like hell to get thru, once the hole is made the drill moves down to the next part at high speed/pressure and breaks. Patience and experience are the keywords here
