| yah, this is a great article..... but.... i've really been searching the reviews to find which cooler works best under a low speed fan: such as a panaflow 12volt at 24 CFM. So far, i'm convinced that the PAL would work best... but... the article only tests a fan blowing from the side which gives the other coolers a disadvantage, especially the SLKs since their air-oulets are only horizontal, not like the swiftech or the PAL, which go in all directions. Hope someone can give me a predictions which one would be better in a situation where a 24 CFM fan was mounted on top of each heatsink. Thanks. -- i'm building a SILENT SILENT SILENT PC! |

| the SLK900 will perform best overall, the way the copper is shaped + a 92mm fan will allow for the maximum heat to be quickly removed , thereby keeping your CPU cool as crisp

| Anyone who knows what's the reason of my high temps by accident ? :-) /mod: sorry for the offtopic-level of my post, but since most of the ppl that are interested SLK800/900 will read this topic, AND with the reason for my suspections about my system due reading that article, I came to the idea of proposing my problem here. Excuse me once more btw. |

| 47°C in a case with 1.9v through a Duron core is not THAT high in my humble opinion

| I'm wondering which is the best PIV cooler. The options are: Swiftech MCX-4000, Alpha pal 8942 (nevermind about that, isn't the best anyway or SLK-900 And 'cause you guys have got all these coolers, i thought maybe you'd know wich one would be THE best cooler. But you guys tested it on AMD Should it be possible to test it on a PIV together with the swiftec? I'd appreciate that very much, and I guess I'm not the only one Tnx on advance, Bored |
