![]() | ![]() Intel plans to introduce a new CPU, which is a blend between E5x00 and E6x00 generations and this Pentium dual core CPU will be branded as E6300. This new CPU will run at 2.8GHz, which is 100MHz faster than the E5400 and has the same clock speed as E7400. The new thing with Pentium dual-core E6300 is that this CPU has 1066MHz FSB which is a feature of the E7x00 generation and it still has 2MB of L2 cache, which is a feature of the E5x00 generation. http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?op...31&It emid=35

| ![]() E6300 was discontinued almost a year ago... stock dried up pretty quick for those as they were replaced with higher FSB/clocked chips. E6300 was my first Conroe purchase in late July 2006... just traded that the old system in for a Core i7 920 last week. ![]() |
