 |  Geil launches carbon-fibre RAM The firm just released Esoteria series of memory modules. They plan to cater to the racing car addicts, because the heat-spreaders feature carbon-fibre. This is not a typo - Vorsteiner, German tuner of BMW cars is in charge for manufacturing according carbon-fibre elements, clearly showing that this is a memory not for ninja-PC's, but rather Formulae of PC World. http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=38999

  | With the voltages they claim (up to 2.5V) they will fry their DRAM chips when heat is being bad transfered. |

| it's just memory with an alu or cupper heatspreader with a patch of carbon fiber gleued on it. Not worth speding extra money, get some memory with heatspreader and buy some stickers with a carbon fiber effect and I'll bet €5 on it that you won't notice the difference (if you can already see the carbon fiber if the memory is installed in your computer). |
