![]() | ![]() Compared with GTX 280, GTX 285 reference edition has abandoned expensive Volterra and MOSFET chip, and used cheaper ISL6327 and MOSFET pipe instead. But it seems Galaxy’s non-reference GTX 285 is being designed at all costs for perfection. Featuring 4+2 phase power supply of which 4-phase digital power for GPU, this card is equipped with VT1165MF digital PWM-controller. Cooled by Arctic Cooling with 5 heatpipes and 3 PWM fans, Galaxy non-reference GTX 285 has build dual BIOS for DIYers’ extreme experience. The engineering sample provides dual-DVI and S-Video connector, and you may expect an additional HDMI connector on retail edition. http://en.expreview.com/2009/02/27/g...unearthed.html
