Default DFI LP UT X58-T3eH8 Intel X58 chipset mainboard preview

The DFI X58 board DFI LP UT X58-T3eH8 is DFI's upcoming board that supports the upcoming Intel LGA1366 Nehalem or Core i7 processor. It officially supports FSB1333 and DDR3-1333. It has 40 lanes of PCIe in the configuration of 16,8,8,4. It supports both ATI CrossFire and NVIDIA SLI. This board uses a 8 phase digital PWM with extra 2 phase for DRAM, 1 phase for NB and 1 phase for vtt.

The Intel X58 sports the support of triple memory channel DDR3 architecture, allowing more bandwidth for the processor as the memory controller is now built right in the processor itself. There are also 3 PCIe 2.0 slots which can support both NVIDIA SLI and ATi's CrossFire X technology.
