![]() | Creative spills the beans on X-Fi faults Franco De Bonis, Creative's European Audio Business Manager said Creative finally managed to reproduce the crackling and distortion symptoms which were reported on some systems up to two months ago. Apparently, all of those that exhibited the symptoms were high-spec gaming systems. Isolating them has taken a bit of time mostly because although they all seemed be based on NForce4 chipsets, they didn’t have much else in common.

![]() | Representatives from the firm are currently sitting down with NVidians to see if they can come up with a solution for the rest of the users who cannot fix their systems using this method. let's hope so, and also hope it will resolve issues with Audigy (2) cards
