ATI HD 4890 price drops to €210

According to our information, AMD has decided to drop the HD 4890 price down to €210 as of today. Most of the cards are still listed at €220+ but some retailers/e-tailers already dropped the price.

AMD has decided to slightly adjust the price probably due to the fact that HD 4890 is indeed a bit slower than Nvidia's GTX 275, so according to our sources, AMD has given a green light to sell these cards at around €210 in Europe. Most of the cards are currently listed at €220+ but some cards as Powercolor's Radeon HD 4890 are already available at €214,99 at Austrian Peluga.at. For example, the HIS Radeon HD 4890 is listed at €209.94 at German MIX-Computer.
