The specifications listed in the table are for the standard version of Radeon HD 4890 and not the OC version of the card. The overclocked version, HD 4890 OC, will offer 25-30% higher performance and will certainly need higher clock frequencies to achieve this. Possibly the Radeon HD 4890 will only have 512MB memory, while the Radeon HD 4890 will sport the full 1GB to further differentiate the two.


The price of Radeon HD 4890 OC will be $299 when it appears at the end of April, while the standard model should appear in the middle of the month.
