| AMD Socket AM2 3800+ X2 Processor Today HardwareLogic takes a look at the "budget priced" dual core processor for AMD's new AM2 line of processors, the X2 3800+ featuring the Windsor core. On one hand, the X2 3800+ looks to offer the same type of performance you'd expect from its predecessor, the s939 X2 3800+ it replaces, including the same 2GHz core speed and 512KB x2 L2 cache. However, the AM2 line of processors also introduces AMD's entrance into the DDR2 market, as well as a rumored dormant feature which could really shake things up.
