| AMD NOT cutting jobs Two separate AMD spokespersons denied to BetaNews this afternoon published reports that the company was already implementing a five percent workforce reduction, and that employees were already receiving pink slips. "AMD confirms that it has not had a reduction in force," states one AMD spokesperson today. | Actually the marketing doesn't care about the product, they only have to sell it, no mather how good or bad it is. I think AMD ain't that bad in marketing. |

| Have we alrady forgotten that Intel has specifically REDUCED marketing staff? Has Arctic-Cooling spent a lot of marketing money that the S1 sells out so fast? that they THINK marketing is the problem is shwoing it can get easily worse |
