![]() | RESELLERS ARE REJOICING that at long last Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is selling its "Opteron" microprocessors in "flat packs", which the firm calls PIBs. That's short for processor in a box. The Opterons are three year warranty components and packed for retail purposes, but don't come with a heatsink nor with a fan. But they do replace both the boxed and tray components of yore. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=17907
