| I want to try this, but maybe yall can help I have a motherboard that is just lying around, and I want to use it to build an experimental system. It is from a HP a250n, but is ultimately an Asus p4p800-vm board with hp bios. I want to change it over to the Asus bios so I can unlock all the bios settings. Think its possible? Or is there any good overcloking software that can be used......I am not going to be going crazy with the overclocking just to speed up things a little. Thanks |

| are you 100% sure it's a relabelled Asus? if so, you can try flashing it to the latest P4P800-VM BIOS, but only if you are 100% sure...

| unless the board actually says asus p4p800-vm , that bios flash could kill it, period. if it does say it on the board, make sure any revisions and such match first, then go for it |
