Help needed: R9800pro problem

Juw dudes,

Andere drivers geprobeerd, windows opnieuw installed, goeie cooling voorzien ...

MAIL:

...
the first 2 months, i didn't have any problems at all with my radeon, it worked fine
But since 2 weeks ago, i have a very strange problem.
When i start my pc, everything is fine, i can enter windows, do anything i want to do, play video games, do benchmarks ...

But when i press restart into windows, the next time i boot up i can enter windows and do some desktop stuff. But when i want to play games in this reboot of my pc, i see a lot of artifacts. Pixels that are flashing, complete chaos of visual effects. Gaming isn't possible with this view. When i reboot again, it stays with artifacts, sometimes even in windows screen or even worse, in my startup screen and in BIOS screen.

When i turn off pc completely and let the pc rest for a minute of 10, i boot and everything is fine again. No problems at all. When i reboot, the problem is there again ...

- i have searched a lot on google and on some tech forums and found some solutions. They came up with heat problems ( bad gfx card, mem cooling, core not proper attached to cooling, bad case cooling ) or a problem with power supply ( to weak ).

Badly enough, i don't have a 2nd gfx card, so i could test my system with the other. I also don't have another power suply.
I allready have formatted twice and reinstalled win xp twice, updated motherbord drivers, used several ati drivers ( catalyst 3.5, catalyst 3.7, catalyst 3.10 )

Now i'm asking: did you ever get such a problem with one of your customers ? Ever heard of this problem of artifacts ?
I can tell you this without lying: i have never overclocked the gfx card, didn't even tried it.
Temperatures are fine, enough cooling.
Even when i do a cold start, play no games and hit reboot after that, the next boot i do have artifacts in games.

My complete system:

P4 2.4ghz ( 533fsb - 512kb ) - 512 MB DDR PC2700 - Albatron PX845PEV Pro - 2 x maxtor 120gb 8mb 7200rpm - audigy 2 sound - aopen cdwriter - aopen cdrom
2 case fans - 300W powersupply

>>>>>>>>>>> Is 300W to weak for my system with a r9800pro ?

WinXP Prof SP1 installed

...
