![]() | dothan + dfi; no boot I went to the post office today to pick up my dothan 1.6 + dfi dothan compatible motherboard. So when I got home, I wanted to check it out offcourse, play around with it a little bit. but it didn't boot. I tried 3 different ram sticks 3 different videocards + onboard video nothing else is hooked up (except usb mouse + keyboard via the ps2 connectors) I cleared cmos I tried with the fsb jumper on auto and 100mhz the fans that are hooked up to the board spin up. I loosened the cpu heatsink and just placed it ontop without bolting it down. What else can I try? it's not like I have a spare dothan or dothan mobo lying around...

![]() | raaaaaah something just died :wtf: speak of the devil hey :grum: suddenly, setFSB couldn't read the values out anymore. I reboot and I get single long beeps... @ calantak : yes, these sockets use a bolt instead of the traditional lever.
