| I found my P4 1.6@2.4ghz to be faster then my XP1.4@1.8ghz

| It are 2 total separate systems. both have fresh xp install (amd = 1 week ols install, p4 1 day). tomorrow i'll use the intel for normal tasks

| I agree with jmke, amd platforms are fast for single tasks (eg; a game°, but when running multiple things at once the intel with HT is notacibly faster. piotke, I can't remember exactly what you have to do, but i haad the same problem in the beginning. I think you need to set a particlar bios option to "1T" to have a huge boost. Funny you mention the vcore fluctuation, I always found it rockstable with my 2.6C. These IS7's i've got here are a real pain in the ***: they undervolt 0.07v under stress. :/
