vmod will increase your overclock hard if you have a good card.
friend and i allmost clocked the card to the WR on air.
675mhz core with custom hs and 1775mhz mem ^^
scored 11.4K but no compare..
just try to keep it cool and give enough voltage
and search for some 3dmark05 tweaks on the net

You might wanna voltmod your mainbord. I can recommand Vdimm mod. For voltmods look at my personal site: http://www.wittekakker.be/projects/p5b/index.html (Dutch language)
You may find 2 other mods like Vcore and Vfsb on XtremeSystems but they are not needed in your case, only if you're taking the board to the extreme.

Ive done some 3D Mark benching this afternoon on the following setup:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 @ 430*8 = 3440Mhz
Asus P5B Vanilla Unmodded @ 0806 Bios
GeIL 2x1GB @ 430Mhz @ 4-4-4-12 @ 2.03V
MSI 7800GTX 256MB @ 550/1400Mhz @ stock volts
3D Mark 2005 Score: 9762
3D Mark 2003 Score: 22712
3D Mark 2001 Score: 44900
I didnt make any SS since this is just some testing... I got a holliday comming up;(22nd of december) and I will do some serious benching then..
PS: Im quite happy with the 7800GTX doing 550+mhz unmodded(well only mod is cooling mod)
