I've tried that with a Barton2500 (1.33V) and a SLK947U, and those temps got realy high (and kept raising). So, best thing to do is to put a 92mm fan @5V on it.

no.. after 1-2 hours the temperature will be high enough for the system to do an auto shutdown.

however, if you place 2 SP-97 on the CPU's and place a large 120mm above them (or the side panel) then it should work.

without airflow however those CPU's will cook, no matter how good the heatsink is.

As jmke adviced me once, you could slap on a tiny 40 or 60mm fan at 5V. Completely noiseless and it's 15-20°C colder than the passive solution. :)

K, well, when I got the money I'll try it, both passive with a 92mm fan in the sidepanel...

Btw I am working on an article that checks if its worth while upgrading your slk800 to a sp97.
