Strange, the site from Thermalright shows reviews from 2003... :^D A tad late I think :D

Btw, they got a rev. A...

How much does it cost and what would you suggest to (almost passively) cool 2 MP2200+ CPU's? The delivery hasn't been done yet (they lost my package :grum: ) But it would be nice to know... I've got holes around the socket, but don't forget, there are 2 CPU's, so I think the mobo won't like 2 1kg-heavy heatsinks...

ALX800 is a budget minded heatsink
price should around $20

I recall seeing it perform within a 2 degree celcius margin with it's bigger brother the SLK800. So it might be budget according to thermalright, it probably is right on top with the other highend aircooling heatsinks. I'm anxious to see your review JM.

after Piotke has done his review I'll slap the ALX800 on my AXP mobile rig :)

Do you think I could cool passively my dual CPU's with Thermalright SP-97 heatsinks? I think the fact they use the mounting holes and the presence of a backplate wouldn't be too bad for the mobo...

Opinions are required here :D

i'll see how long I'll be able to keep an AXP 2500+ cooled without fan and SP97
