Default folding interfering with adobe photoshop?

My father refuses to fold anylonger because he claims it interferes with photoshop elements.

Some pictures take a huge times to save, and some have odd artifacts (example attached). These problems seased to exist when folding@home was disabled...

Does anyone have a clue why?

rig: Intel 2.4b, MSI 845E, 512mb DDR333, R8500. All stock speeds.

I did video-editing (which is even more processor intensive) while folding ... no problem.

But i would suggest setting a lower priority also.

He's using the console version ... wright ... ?

latest console version installed as a service.

Priority was already the lowest i think.

Also interferes with winRAR.
Try unraring something, you'll see winrar and fah fight for cpu power. Doesn't mather what priority you set.
