![]() | ![]() We think the most significant improvement that we’ve found with the XFX GeForce GTX 280 XXX compared to the XFX GeForce 260 XXX was in Age of Conan. In every game (save for Crysis) the XFX 260 XXX was able to play it at 2560x1600, except in Age of Conan. The XFX GeForce GTX 280 XXX not only allowed us to play this game at 2560x1600 but it also allowed us to enable 2X AA. In a game like Age of Conan if you can increase your resolution to 2560x1600 and enable AA your world view is significantly increased making the entire gameplay experience much more immersive, and easier to navigate. Of course, there is a large $255 difference between the XFX GeForce GTX 280 XXX and XFX GeForce GTX 260 XXX video cards. That is a significant difference, and the only way we can even say that it is worth it is if you run at 30” LCD and game at 2560x1600. http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/articl...50aHVzaWFzdA==
