| Toshiba sees 76 percent jump in second-quarter operating profit Unfortunately, thanks to the bit it wants to sell Toshiba reported a 76 percent jump in second-quarter operating profit on thanks to a strong performance from its memory chip unit. While this is great short term news, the memory unit is the part of Tosh which it recently agreed to sell for $18 billion. This means that when the dust has settled from that deal its profits will suffer accordingly. http://fudzilla.com/news/memory/4492...erating-profit |
