 |  Tencent takes half of Ubisoft Half your company is now Chinese Ubisoft has announced that Chinese tech giant Tencent has invested €300 million to buy half the company. In a press release from Ubisoft CEO and co-founder Yves Guillemot said the 50 per cent stake "further reinforces Ubisoft’s core shareholding around its founders and provides the company with the stability essential for its long-term development.” Earlier this year Tencent acquired a small percent stake in the publisher of Assassin's Creed and Just Dance, but said it wanted more.
