The game gets delayed to May 30th

Prime Matter has announced that System Shock Remake has been unfortunately delayed to May 30th, and although the game was planned to launch by the end of this month, it appears that the developer needs a bit more time in order to iron out some of the kinks. Prime Matter and Nightdive also released the final PC system requirements for the upcoming remake.

While the developer hoped to launch System Shock Remake by the end of March, the game has been pushed back to May 30th. Reports coming from early backers of the game suggested that there are some bugs that were probably the reason for the delay, and hopefully, those will be fixed by the end of May.

The remake of System Shock will bring plenty of improvements starting with all-new visuals, updated controls, new interface, as well as gameplay improvements, which include a whole new hacking system, new combat options, and more.

The final PC system requirements have also been released, and considering the upcoming improvements, these do not sound that bad, starting with Intel's Core i5-2400 or AMD's FX-8320 CPU, 4GB of RAM, and either the Nvidia GTX 670 2GB or the AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB graphics card. The recommended requirements push it a bit higher to Intel's Core i7-3770 or AMD's FX-8350 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and either Nvidia's GTX 970 4GB or AMD' Radeon R9 290 4GB graphics card.
