Default South Korea goes Iron Man for its cops

Police Future Vision 2050 is a bit scary

South Korea’s national police force’s “Police Future Vision 2050” plan is turning out to be a little dystopian.

It appears that South Korean police want to suppress future crimes using the ‘Iron Man’ police armor and armed robot dogs. Coppers will even patrol the metaverse to keep the population in check.

Under this plan, called the “Police Future Vision 2050”, 14 projects were proposed to help law enforcement adapt to prevent future crimes and move away from ‘manpower’ policing.

The most striking project was the “Iron Man Police” project, which will provide officers with a robust, wearable robotic armor that will provide superhuman strength with the technology to be developed until 2027. It was stated that the Iron Man armor also includes an artificial intelligence assistant to advise the police on threats and appropriate action plans.
