| Socket A to blow its brains out in March AFTER YEARS of loving socket A platform, it's time to say goodbye to all those nice chipsets and motherboards based on it. | AXP will be available on 2nd hand market for some time still, picking up XP2500+ won't be much a problem will provide quite a boost compared to your current XP1800+

| goodbye, beloved socket A. we've been stuck to them for a very long time and it was GOOD. i've got three socket A systems, and I keep a spare mainboard in case one would fail |
