 |  Showa Denko Begins Shipments of Platters for MAMR HDDs Following up on news from earlier this month that they have developed HAMR HDD platters, Showa Denko K.K. (SDK) has announced that it has started shipments microwave assisted recording (MAMR) HDD platters.
