Default Samsung RDNA2 Xclipse 920 GPU does well in Geekbench benchmarks

25 to 50 percent faster than the Qualcomm counterpart

The GPU inside Samsung's upcoming Exynos 2200 SoC, called the Xclipse 920, is doing quite well, giving some impressive scores in Geekbench benchmarks.

According to the first Geekbench results, spotted by @TheGalox_ over at Twitter, the Exynos 2200 GPU gets an OpenCL score of 9,143 points, or just over 50 percent higher than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In Vulkan API-based benchmarks, the Xclipse 920 GPU gets a score of 8,556 points, or around 15-25 percent higher than the Adreno 730.

While these are just some of the first synthetic results, and might not reflect the real-world performance, the numbers are pretty impressive.

We are definitely looking forward to Samsung's S22 series launch in February.
