Default Palantir bags £130 million army deal for AI truck

Has anyone seen Wargames?

Palantir, the spy firm run by billionaire Peter Thiel, has landed a £130 million deal to put a hi-tech intelligence system inside a massive truck for the US Army.

The truck, dubbed TITAN, is the Army's first AI-powered vehicle and will use space, air, and land sensors to spot and blast enemy targets with deadly accuracy.

TITAN stands for Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node. This means the truck will be a mobile command centre for the soldiers, who will get feedback and tips from the system at every stage.

The project aims to bring together different software and hardware makers, such as Northrop Grumman, L3Harris, Worldwide Technology, and Palantir.
