| OCC's DOOM Eternal Performance Analysis "It was not long ago that I pushed back the forces of Hell in DOOM Eternal, but as there have been no game or driver updates to directly impact its performance, it seems I can get to work on its performance analysis. The game leverages the latest version of the id Tech engine, id Tech 7, which stands as an unusual engine in use today as it only supports Vulkan, the multi-platform, low-level API, as opposed to any version of DirectX. Previous id Tech versions using Vulkan have enabled very high performance and impressive graphics with little compromise, and DOOM Eternal definitely looks to continue this trend." https://www.overclockersclub.com/rev...l_performance/ |
