| No SATA Express for Intel 9-series chipsets Reason for cancellation unclear, but will not delay the 2014 launch of Z97. It appears that Intel’s upcoming 9-series chipsets will be shipping without SATA Express. According to internal Intel documents seen by VR-Zone, Intel’s Z97 chipset, due out in the fourth quarter of 2014 to support Broadwell-K processors, will not be supporting SATA Express. http://vr-zone.com/articles/sata-exp...eries-chipsets |
