Icon17 Mushkin Releases High Speed DDR2-800 FB-DIMMs

Mushkin, a global leader in high-performance and system-specific computer memory products, today announced the release of high speed PC2-6400 FB-DIMMs for Apple Mac Pro and Xserve systems available in 1GB and 2GB single modules and 2GB and 4GB dual-channel kits. These products are designed to provide effortless memory upgrades for owners of the newly released Mac Pro and Xserve systems that support DDR2-800 FB-DIMMs.

"The new PC2-6400 FB-DIMMs offer Mac Pro and Xserve users a reliable and
cost-effective upgrade for their systems," said Brian Flood, Mushkin
product development director. "In server and workstation environments,
having an adequate amount of system memory is critical to achieving the
desired performance level." According to Flood, Mushkin is also
committed to providing the fastest upgrades by releasing modules
specified for operation at a CAS latency of 5, even though the slower
CAS 6 is also supported.

The DDR2-800 Mac Pro and Xserve FB-DIMMs are immediately available
through the mushkin.com web store and authorized resellers and
distributors. Like all Mushkin products, these modules are backed by a
lifetime warranty and an industry-leading technical support staff.
